
Back in November 2017 Sony Pictures gave the green light to make Morbius, The Living Vampire a movie. They have two writers, Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless, involved in this movie. They are American screenwriters, best known for writing films together, like Power Rangers (2017) and Lost in Space (2018).
Sony had signed Jared Leto to play Morbius. Jared is famous for his roles in Suicide Squad (2016) and Blade Runner 2049 (2017). .
Sony tapped Daniel Espinosa to direct Morbius movie. He is a Swedish director famous for directing Safe House (2012) and Life (2017). Production of the movie started in March 2019 with the release date of July 31, 2020.

Morbius first appeared in Amazing Spider-man 101 (October 1971), created by Roy Thomas and Gil Kane. Morbius gained vampiric superhuman abilities after failed experiment to cure his rare disorder. He started out as an antagonist to Spider-man and now is flawed anti-hero. He starred in his own comic book titles.

In May 11, a copy of Amazing Spider-man 101 CGC 9.4 sold for $2,518. Also 9 CGC copies of Amazing Spider-man 101 flew off the shelves after the announcement on June 27. Normally one or two copies sold each day.
I haven’t seen any Amazing Spider-man 101 CGC 9.4 sold in March 2019 but there is currently a copy of Amazing Spider-man 101 9.4 CGC 9.4 asking for $4,200.
There was one sale in November 19, 2019 of this book for $1,800.09
The trailer was released on Monday, January 13. The trailer looks good! I am excited to see this movie.
On that same day, January 13, there was a best offer accepted of Amazing Spider-man 101 CGC 9.4 for $3,000.
This book might be a keeper. I have a feeling there might be a sequel.
